I finally got my push present today. A brand new hammock. We had unfortunately let the old one rot and I had been seriously missing my afternoon naps in the backyard. Viola, Stella, and Mary are pretty jazzed about it too as you can see. Viola had her first trip to the Lake Mayer today for lunch. This is a special place to us because it is where we spent most of our Saturday lunches (Green Tea, cheap Chinese, to go) when we were dating. Unfortunately we did not have the camera in tow so there is no photo documentation of the event. But just picture Viola sitting on top of a picnic table in her car seat (Chicco key fit 30 in orange and gray) with ducks and geese swimming in the water behind her. It was a lovely day for a picnic.
