We decided to forgo any further exploration of Sin City and headed for Hoover Dam before our afternoon flight. It was well worth the rush.Here's a nifty fact: There are 4,360,000 cubic yards of concrete in the dam.
There are some really great art deco details including the original men's and women's toilets in the towers on the dam that we did not have time to investigate. Next time.
We took a tour and got to see the gigantic generators.
We made it to the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight even with a stop atJack-in-the-Box (big mistake, disgusting)
