We awoke with the dawn Saturday morning (well maybe not with the dawn but, before 8:30) to get the living room ready to receive the kitchen appliances. We had to clear the boxes of kitchen paraphernalia away from the sofa and coffee table so that we could stack the sofas and clear up some space. This made us realize how much space we would have if we only had one sofa. So we began to think about which sofa we would be willing to part with.
So... the decision. Sadly, one is as bad as the other wear-wise. We began to look at new sofas. On Ebay of coarse. We like a couple of Mies van der Rohe numbers but need to keep in mind that this is the only place we have for company to sleep so... that must dictate our decision. back story: When we met I had the white sofa with avocado trim (the material is almost like terry cloth) and brian had the black leather sofa. When I first went to his apartment and saw that a)he had the masculine version to my 1960's feminine sofa and b) was as messy as I was I knew we were meant to be.

We'll see.Maybe for a birthday present.
Any who. Saturday. We had originally wanted to go to the aquarium in Atlanta to celebrate our anniversary but had to reschedule (due to floor delays) and be here to accept our appliances. Our delivery window of 11-3 soon became 11-5 and when the fellas finally arrived they had no appliances for us. Huh? We weren't upset at all, this just means that we get to enjoy some open floor space for another week.
Still waiting for the cloudiness to go away in the polyurethane to sand and apply final two coats to the floor, then it needs seven days to fully cure.
