It's been a long time coming but we have finally gotten to the point of refinishing the floor. We were wanting to get it finished by this past saturday since the appliances are coming on the 23rd but, it's now wednesday and we still have to put 2 or 4 more coats of poly to put on. What does this mean? We will be stacking our sofas to have room to store the appliances in the living room. It should be interesting.

Heh-- we did the floors (whole house at once) in our stocking feet. Booties probably would have been smarter. We told everyone who came by that we were instituting a Hawaiian themed no shoes policy.
I've been looking at your pictures, and it seems like you've been doing a lot of the same things we've been doing to our 20s bungalow.
And doesn't it all start with, "I wonder what's under X,Y and Z...?"
