When we first bought the purple primer for the PVC pipes I was warned that "we do not want to spill this stuff" so what happened, we spilled it. On our newly refinished, stained, four coats of polyurethane, beautiful wood floor. The good news is it's pretty. I wanted to just paint purple primer over the rest of the floor and embrace the blunder but Brian says it will eat through the finish so... We sand. Back down to the wood, just in that place, not the whole floor but, blurg, what a set back/ heart break.

We had an accident

HA!! I can see you with purple floors!! It would totally fit your personality!!!
Oh, NO! I feel your pain, I did the exact same thing, only it was both cans the primer and the glue (because I had them taped together). My floors were ok because we were refinishing them, but everyone workin' inside the house got a major buzz.
