An afternoon with the Gaines, and fresh fish from a coffee pot.

 Jim took us on his official tour of Lexington one morning.  It included Washington and Lee University as well as Virginia Military Institute and some history on the town.  He knows just about every thing there is to know about all of the above.  I recommend the tour.  Then his wife Beth joined us for lunch.  It is so nice to spend some time with these lovely people every time we are in VA.

 Beth keeps this photo of Brian on her fridge.  He used to ride his bike a lot.

We stopped by this coffee pot on the way home to get...crab cakes, fresh from Maryland.  They were delicious.  So the next time you see a two story coffee pot ask if they have any crab cakes.
