Viola and I headed to Jackson this past week to spend some time with the family.
Fortunately Viola qualifies as carry-on.
We got to attend Addie's spring program.
She was quite the star.
Here is a little video compilation. Sorry about the camera shake. The almost two-year-old in my lap was not exactly functioning as a tripod.
Trey had a blast.
Addie took a few moments to spend with the little people.
We got a private encore in the car on the way to lunch.
On Saturday morning some of us did a 5K.
We were pretty athletic.
Its a good thing that Cindy has a large dining room table. But she might need to get a bigger one since this is just the kids and Garner isn't even there.
Viola was sleeping terribly in the pack and play (she was touching it head and toe).
Enter the big girl bead. She slept great.
However she did wake up under the bed rather than in it.
The newest addition, Trey, just hangs right in with the rest of the gang.
He's quite popular.
Viola is a huge fan.
On Sunday Wendy pulled out the Slip-n-Slide, and the fun followed.
Audrey helped blow up the floats until she realized it was hard to do then she handed it to our own hot air balloon, Bailey.
It was pretty crazy. There were a few collisions.
Jake and Wendy were super fun.
Viola really found her gift with the water hose.
She is really good and hosing people down.
Wendy did some baby sitting while Jake and AB went for a run.
She looked like Vogue the baby-mama edition.
Audrey also takes her turn with the child care responsibilities.
Wendy and I took these two for a walk on the Natchez trace Monday. I can't say that they got along the entire time. It might have been a bit too much togetherness for them.
Viola did a little cleaning while every one else was playing.
Good times everybody.
