Did I forget to mention...that the ceiling fell in?

While we were on vacation the pan under the air conditioning unit in the attic got clogged with algea and over flowed causing water to drip though the ceiling for a few days until we got back. Our house sitter sarah did the best that she could to catch all of the drips and her fiance even went in the attic to attempt to stop the leak. Alas we still had a soggy mess of a ceiling that had to go. Brian was able to rip out the old ceiling and put in new joists while Viola and I were in Jackson. He has since put in a new dry wall ceiling and plastered it in. Next sanding.

He jacked the unit up to the ceiling with some straps.

The entire living room is surrounded in plastic sheeting to keep dust and trash contained. This means that we have to push the plastic out of the way from the bedroom to the kitchen. Viola moves about with ease pushing the plastic out of her way.
