Grand Circle Road Trip, Day 2

We started our second day waiting for the shuttle bus in front of our hotel to take us to Zion National Park. When we got there we hopped on another bus to tour the park. They do not allow private vehicles inside of Zion. It was so nice that neither one of us had to drive while the other got to look out of the window at all of the amazing sites. The bus stopped at all of the trail heads and overlooks and the driver would tell you which ones not to miss. Zion was incredible.
We rode the bus as far as it went up the canyon then walked another mile or so in but we had to stop there because to hike any further in to what is referred to as "the narrows" you have to strap on your waders and hike in the river. No thanks.
After a few short hikes and climbs up to see vistas and water falls Viola had enough.
After we did all that you can do in Zion with a 13 month old strapped to you we loaded up in the rav4 and headed toward Bryce Canyon.
We were there in time to see the sun set over the hoo-doos (that is the name of the rock formations in Bryce).
